About Me
Hello! I’m Joh, a passionate private tutor who loves helping primary-aged children grow in confidence and curiosity as they learn.
My teaching is child-led, meaning I adapt each session to suit your child’s interests, needs, and pace. Whether we’re exploring reading and writing, building confidence in maths, or developing early phonics skills, every lesson is designed to be engaging, supportive, and fun.
I’m known for being patient and encouraging, creating a calm and positive space where children feel safe to try new things and ask questions.
I also have experience supporting children with special educational needs, ensuring that every child receives the individual attention and understanding they deserve.
My Mission
My mission is to encourage children to make bold choices, take pride in their progress, and discover the joy of learning. Together, we’ll build strong roots and steady growth, helping your child flourish — both in school and beyond.
Engaging
Sessions capture children's attention, imagination and inquisitive nature.
Child Led
Each session is planned to meet the individual learning style and needs of your child.
Positive
Children finish each session having engaged in something new in a safe and supportive environment.
